user error Definition: Definition used by tech support to describe a problem initiated & controlled by the end user. Usage: "BSOD Ticket has been closed due to "user error". Problem found to be end user placed magnets on the computer's metal case to "decorate the bland case" and the magnets caused the computer to crash.
