 Serial ATA Definition: Serial ATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment)or SATA is an interface used to connect ATA hard drives to a computer's motherboard. It has a point-to-point channel between drive and motherboard. It is a standard hard disk interface for desktop PCs.
