MMOG Definition: MMOG is an acronym for Massively Multiplayer Online Game. MMOG's are games where players join in a persistent world. They can do different tasks, like killing monsters, killing other players, grouping with other players and killing bigger monsters. Most games also have a market where people can trade things and crafting. MMOG is often used for games that favour the gaming aspect over the role-playing or world aspects of games. Most companies will use the word MMORPG rather than this, but their are people starting to make the distinction and labelling games. Most MMO's are MMOG's. Usage: I play MMOG's.
