Kernel panic

Definition: It is the BSOD of Linux. It is an action taken by an OS upon detecting an internal fatal error from which it cannot safely recover. Kernel routines are designed to output an error message to the console (Terminal), dump an image of kernel memory to disk for post-mortem debugging and then they reboot the system (automatically or after a few seconds - 0,019965 seconds for windows and 15-30 seconds for Linux) or wait for the user to reboot the system. Even though there are more Windows PCs than Linux PCs the ratio of Fatal error per PC is way bigger for Windows PC.
Usage: I've seen Kernel panic once in my life...well actually twice...I restarted the PC just to see it again! So rare!...
