Hard Disk Definition: In a computer the Hard disk is the hard drive your operating system is installed on. Also known as HDD or hard disk drive. It contains all of the system files from which your computer will run. Usage: I asked the customer to right click his C:/ drive and choose Format, and they actually wiped their Hard disk.
