Blizzard Entertainment Definition: The largest, most powerful game company in the world. Recently merged with Activition. Makers of the games in the Diablo, Warcraft, and StarCraft universes. Their most popular titles are World of Warcraft, an MMORPG, and StarCraft, which has become a multimillion dollar sport in Korea. The game Diablo II has been on the top 20 games sold list every month since it came out over 10 years ago. Most of the time the company is simply referred to as "Blizzard". Usage: Man, did you hear the latest news from blizzard? Apparently the new TOS for battle.net give them the rights to your first born child, or in lue of a child (should you have none) you must offer your own soul to them as sacrafice. Pretty extreme, i know, but have you seen Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3? How could i pass them up!? Posted by ThePooBurner on May 15, 2009 at 12:29:59 Pacific |
Blizzard Entertainment Definition: A popular gaming company who are the makers of games such as Warcraft, World of Warcraft(WoW), Starcraft, and Diablo. They charge a monthly fee for one of the worst MMORPG's, although many will disagree, WoW. Usage: Fifteen dollars a month to play that crappy game? Blizzard Entertainment is out of their mind.
