Amiga

Definition: Computer created by former Atari engineer Jay Miner in the early 1980's. The Amiga boasted a true multitasking architecture with independent processors handling GPU/APU, IO, and Graphics functionalities. The Amiga OS is renowned for its efficiency and was the first mass-market GUI for the average person. The Amiga is NOT a Macintosh clone, although expansion cards did exist to allow Mac OS to be run as an application on top of Amiga OS.
Usage: Commodore bought the rights to Amiga from Amiga Corp to prevent Atari from acquiring Amiga Corp after Jack Tramiel left Commodore to become CEO of Atari.

Usage: Amiga computer model is just a cheap Apple clone.
